Rakyat Needs A Peaceful Nation

May had been an eventful month. Today is first of June but I believe many of us would still have fresh memory of what occurred last month. To name a few, the Sichuan, China earthquake disaster, UMNO internal conflicts, Dr.M's bizarre attack on Pak Lah, the uncertainty petrol price on foreign-registered cars and recently the Election Commission of Malaysia's plan to draw up a new electoral roll. Firstly, i would like to pray for the poor victims of Sichuan, China earthquake disaster. I'm glad the Chinese celebrities such as Jet Li and Andy Lau are using their influence in drawing donations worldwide. Jet Li's foundation managed to raised more than RM 28 million for the relief effort. I also wish more Malaysians will donate as much as possible because I know Malaysians are really generous which is very true. As for Dr.M's bizarre attack on Pak Lah, many rakyat opined that Dr M should retire gracefully. We all know what Dr M did a splendid job in his long tenure as Malaysia's PM. Dr M should let his successor Pak Lah do things his way. Personally I think Pak Lah had been a great PM so far. He combated graft all this while. At the moment, the politic arena in Malaysia had not been peaceful. UMNO has its own conflict, same as MCA and MIC. MIC had been busy rebranding itself. Apparently, Datuk Seri Samy Vellu spended a huge sum in his effort to woo back its own supporters. Hopefully the Pakatan Rakyat MPs will repay the faith voters gave them.
