A friend is one of the nicest things you can have, and one of the best things you can be. ~Douglas Pagels
I suddenly have the urge to write about my friends. Life is short. So I just want to express my gratitude to all my friends. You know who you are. =) I believe in this world, everyone wishes to have true friends. I count myself lucky because I have handful true friends. Not in quantity but in quality. I rather have it in quality. In every stage of my life, regardless entering primary school, secondary school or university, I manage to find true friends but the quality decreases as we grow older. This is why I value friendship a lot. I treat my friends with sincerity and I try my very best not to hurt their feelings. How often you guys see me in anger? I rather have myself hurt than hurting them. In my three year tenure in my university, I miss my childhood friends whom I befriended in my primary and secondary school. I still remember my buddies whom I know when I passed my PTS exam. Those days we are so so innocent. Friendship were pure and sincere. Mun Choon, Peng Cheong, Derek Lee, Fabian, Brendan.. We all passed PTS exam together. I still remember how they look like when they were still young and innocent.. Mun Choon’s specs, Peng Cheong’s chubby body.. Haha.. In fact, me and Fabian were fierce enemies in Standard 3. I do not know whether Fabian still remember it. Fabian and Harideva Anand I think, always bully me and Ashley. Those days.. In Standard 6, I got to know Lionel. Me and Lionel were close buddies in Standard 6 till Form 3. I always go to Lionel’s house during school holidays. Miss those days a lot. In form 5, I was in 5M. Met Thava, Siew Hei, Wei Keat, Chee Yuen, Wei Jian, Zaccheus. All smart guys except me.. Haha.. I am always the lazy 1. Always copy add maths assignments from Thava and Wei Keat. In form 6, I was close friends with Mun Choon, Thava, Wei Keat and Siew Hei.. Same class mah. Somehow met Choong Hing who was from Arts class. Me, Siew Hei, Choong Hing and Mun Choon went for a few karaoke sessions. I really miss those days a lot. I felt very happy during those days. After form 6, I also still keep in touch with Mun Choon, Thava, Siew Hei, and Choong Hing. Others, really no more contact. I really miss you guys a lot.. and I will never forget you all no matter how old I get.. You guys will always remain in my heart. I really miss our school days. Chee Yuen and me got into UKM. By luck, he stayed in the same kolej with me and he stayed in the room beside my room. That was in our first year. Second year, he was my room mate. Haha.. i do not know how he felt lah. In my university, I managed to find a true friend who had been there when I really felt helpless and he offered valuable help to me without any qualms. I really appreciate it a lot and you reminded me the meaning of friendship when I almost forgot it after leaving Form 6. I found a true friend. You know who you are. Thanks a million and you are always my best friend. The reason I write this is just to tell my friends that I value u guys a lot and I do appreciate you all. I always believe that it gets harder to find true friends as we advance to the latter stages in life and I still believe it. So, appreciate the friends you have because it is not easy to find a true friend.
